Meet the team

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Freeman earned his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with honors. His curiosity about people shows up every day in the way he listens, plans, and genuinely cares about the patients he serves.

Dr. Freeman earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. After dental school, he focused on building Atlanta Dentistry by Design into a lasting legacy in Atlanta.

He went on to serve as faculty at the CEREC Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona, teaching other dentists how to use CAD/CAM technology for same-day restorations. He was also among the earliest Invisalign providers in the Atlanta area and has recently added two additional aligner systems to give patients more options in clear aligner therapy.

His conservative treatment philosophy guides him to restore what is damaged, preserve what is healthy, and never do more than the patient actually needs. As a lifelong learner and advocate for innovative dentistry, Dr. Freeman is a member of the American Dental Association, Hinman Dental Society, and Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

He loves spending time with his wife, daughter, and their dog Domino. He is also a fan of pro and college football, an avid golfer, and someone who will openly admit to a serious sweet tooth. The office runs on 80s music, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
